PLEASE SUPPORT THIS IMPORTANT BILL!

The bill was filed in House (HB 1375) and Senate (SB 1122). But that is just the first step in a long process that will hopefully end when Governor Rick Scott signs the bill into law at the end of the 2016 legislative session.

The bill contains many provisions that will help owners and board members to deal with the ever-increasing problems of maintaining the community associations. Many of the provisions in this bill will seriously decrease the legal bills and make enforcement of existing laws much easier -- and less expensive! Developer turn-over provisions will ease the problem of developers refusing to turn over communities. And it will stop the unconstitutional act of giving associations the right to lien property for unpaid fines -- fines that were levied without due process and without giving owners the right to face their accusers.

Property owners in any of the estimated 4 million homes and condos located in Florida's community associations should be interested in strongly supporting this bill. Don't listen to special interest -- it's YOUR HOME and YOUR MONEY!

PLEASE HELP WITH THE COST TO LOBBY FOR THIS BILL!

Politics are expensive -- and lobbying for a bill that will be fought by special interest afraid of seeing their profits shrink is even more expensive. One of the biggest complaints we are hearing is the lack of enforcement of existing laws. Owners just don't have the money to hire expensive attorneys to fight for what the law says is rightfully theirs. And since we live in Florida, we all know how important strict election rules are.

FAIRNESS IN ASSOCIATIONS IS OUR GOAL!
